Hardlock E-Y-E seed/Emu problem (old Flora ASIC)

Hi,
I need to emulate an LPT dongle.
The dongle is black and has a window where it shows "Hardlock E-Y-E"

I was able to dump the dongle with hl-dump v2.1.
I believe I need to solve the dump first, before I can use it with an emu... but I am not sure.
I tried finding seeds with hl_solver.exe, but did not find any seeds.
I think hl_solver might not work with Flora ASIC (old revision)

I am reading for hours now, and downloaded loads of tool but I cannot find the solution to get it to run.
My goal is an Emulator which runs minimum with Windows XP -32bit, optional also with Windows7 -64bit
Please help. What should I do next?


In "Toros Dongles Monitor" Log it showed MODAD 0x381F.

The same MODAD was found, with "hl-dump.exe /BF" :

if not work, try with different seeds set as above kjms posted.......

I only have a Win 7 - 64bit system at the moment.
I could NOT manage to get the program work with Mk18.2.4x64win7

1 UAC is off.
2 I used "Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider" tool to load the driver.
3 Started Windows in Test Mode

"Virtual USB Multikey" driver OK , no Problem in Device Manager,
I tried all different Seed Combinations.

Q: can I change the seeds via edit Registry on the fly, and start the program after every change, to see if seeds are working.
Or do I need to restart the USB Multikey driver after each change?

The program did not work. The Program comes with a tool to detect a dongle, but fails to detect any dongle.
So I believe that the dongle emu is not working with Windows 7 - 64bit

I also tried to run the program in XP-compatibility mode. Does not work.

Q: Aladdin driver does not have to be installed....correct?

I also tried Windows XP - Virtual PC with Mk18.2.4, also did not work.

I think I will have to setup a Windows XP sp3 PC to test, but I will not be able to do this in the next 10 days.

Mk18.2.4 x64 is license problem. you need ask author

Got hold of a Windows 7 (32bit) system.

Created 8 Reg File each with 3 different seeds.

Imported first of the eight Reg Files to the Registry.

Installed HASP key 5.2 driver

installed MultiKey 19.1.8 (x86)

The Virtual USB MultiKey Device shows up in device manager.
Aladdin Hardlock Key and Aladdin USB Key also show up.... So far so good.

chkmkey displays the installed key >0000XXXX1

To test I start a Tool which comes with the Tool to find its hardware dongle.
Dongle responds OK. I press button to find Dongle several times. Sometime Dongle is not found.

(Tried all Regfiles one after another from 1-8 like this>

Imported second of the eight Reg Files to the Registry.

Restarted Multikey

Same result...not stable. Always same result> The Program sometimes works sometimes not.
Sometimes more modules are unlocked sometimes less.

I also tried to install all Regfiles together, then chkmkey finds all 8 Emulated Keys working at the the same time.
All devices (8x Virtual USB MultiKey +8x Aladdin Hardlock Key and 8x Aladdin USB Key) show up installed OK, without error in the Device Manager.
It seem to have more modules unlocked, but still errors and program not stable.

The Program sometimes starts sometimes not.
Sometimes more options are unlocked sometimes less.
Unfortunatelly it is not working 100 %
Sometimes I get message like> Module not unlocked.

I took a log, the same day I took the dumps. And I took some logs with the emu installed.
Maybe that helps to identify the issue.
Unfortunatelly I cannot check at the moment with which Reg I made the Log today.

I can make another log with USB Trace and the original dongle connected tomorrow morning.
Please let me know what I should do next.

Additional Question: In the Program modules are assigned via Hardlock key.
Is it possible to unlock modules only by changing the Emu reg File,
without debugging the software? Probably not, correct?
