HASP HL SRM dongle

Hi Mates,

First of all i am from Holland so if my english is bad i apologie in advanced.

I have Aladding HASP HL Pro purple dongle. I have dump it with HASPHL2010 x64 i have the DMP file.

I think that i have SRM this because i first try to dump with api5.exe i couldn't dump. after trying to dump with api6.exe i got SRM.dmp file.

With HASPHL2010 x64 i got 29794ECF.dmp file.

I have send this dmp file to a dongle service and they provide me .dng file to emulate. i have to say it works fantastic. but as many of you know the full version is not for free.

my question is, is there a way to convert dmp to dng file? i have used several methodes but i get always the same error "the file size is not correct" i have used edge2

i tried everything on the web. there must be a simple way if they can create a dng file with only dmp file why could we not do that ?

valid dng you can get form the dongle service only.

How do they do it (dongle service) there must be a way to do this. How do they get the software or hardware to do this?

if trial from hasphl2010 works then it not uses srm part.

How can i convert it to dng then if it's not uses srm part? With every program that i have use i get file size error. Is there a way to do this? I have used several ways/tutorials but no help. I have also bought a new dongle for backup is there a way to clone my dongle?

man forget about hasphl2010 if you want for free.  there are hasp2007, h5dmp, hasploger, rtqaextractor, log convertors, free hasp hl sys emulators that works under under win xp etc.
if it is small soft setup then can help but only in free time too.

It will not dump with h5dmp but with h6dmp i get then srm.dmp file?? And dump with hasphl2010 i get PW1PW1.dmp file. Dumping on xp is not a problem i can instal xp x86 but can i emulate on w7 x64 ? With usbtrace there is low to none activity only at startup of the protected software using several activity with the software is not giving any activity at all. I notice when i unplug the dongle after starting the software i can use it for couple of minutes before i get dongle error

I think name of dmp have already passwords of hasp hl in it. Do dump of srm and hasp hl with the dumper:

send dumps, usbtraceLOG, exes and dlls in original and memory dumped
if in your pc there are hasp_windows.... dll files then send them (it), too.
tell in what kind of windows you want use soft: xp sp3/vista/7/8/8.1, 32 bits or 64 bits and what kind of processor (s) ?

emulator mk18.x.y  can run also on win 64, but colecting info with old tools maybe only under x86

I too am emulating a Hasp HL dongle (HL Time) I have been unable to get the passwords for a proper dump. Is it possible to see the passwords being sent to dongle using USBtrace? If you can, what does it look like?

what kind of Windows you use on 32 or on 64 bits ?

That sounds promising.

The easy method (run HaspHL2010 and use app) does not work for me because the app does not run very long and probably never uses PWs. This is a Time hasp and when starting app it reads the hasp info and says expired key and then stops. I was hoping to use soft tools to directly find the passwords and aes key from the software files. I did a hex search for my vendor code (converted and inverted to hex) inside the hasp_windows_xxxxxxx.dll and hasp_windows64_xxxxxxx.dll files and found six matches in each file but I could not find any data that was passwords or aes key (hex just looks like random data).

If I understand your post, I can open these dll files and the main app exe with petools to create a dump file of each and then use vidtool to find the password and aes info inside the dump files?

I also don't understand what you mean by "matrix", please explain.

I include the hasp_net_windows.dll because the app make several calls to the dongle using functions with that name in it. I still have not been able to find passwords and aes. Hope you can help.

vidtool does not find matrix in them
if is not with White box you have to make petools memory dumps of exe s and dll s that have hasp envelope. Is it or is not .NET your application ?  in hex vendor id is 01 B6 58   or 58 B6 01

Hex editor and vidtool not possible for 6+ version api. Dont waste your time.

More correct would be for 5.10+ API.

Is it possible to emulate this dongle with public emulator?

Would hacking the software to not call the dongle be the only solution?

With public emulator - is no possible.
Hacking the protected files - it can be solution, but emulate the dongle would be better.
