HASP SRM or not
Greetings,
I am attempting to emulate an aladdin hasp dongle and am having some issues finding out whether or not it is srm or not. I was unable to get a valid dump with HASPHL2010. I used toro monitor and was able to get passwords but h5dumper could not find the dongle, nor could h6... I was finally able to use RTDUMPERGUI to get a dump under the srm setting. I have uploaded the .txt file from haspmon3.2 and the srm dump file from RTDumper to the link below. From what I have found online there is not a public release for a srm emulator. Could someone confirm that this is indeed an srm dongle.
Cheers!

is it possible to emulate srm?

Re: HASP SRM or not
Of course, emulate HASP SRM dongle is possible.
Seems your protected software using the dongle in HASP HL mode.
So, you can use any public emulator.
For HASP SRM private solution exists only.
Try make hasp dump files using h5dmp tool.
Run the tool under administrative rights with parameters:
h5dmp 0xACF 0x2949

Re: HASP SRM or not
Hi it seems the dongle is not srm but hasp hl.
I have got a dump through h5dmp.exe and have a toro monitor log and a usb tracelog. I cannot get a working version of unidumptoreg downloaded. would someone give me some assistance as how to proceed?
Cheers!
here are the link to files I currently have:

Re: HASP SRM or not
Hi.
I have the same doubt. I do not know if my original dongle is a HASPL HL or a SRM key.
I read the dongle and according the following information it seems a HL key:
---===>Device Information<===---
English product name: "HASP HL 3.25"

MaxPower: 0x19 = 50 mA
===>Interface Descriptor<===

bInterfaceNumber: 0x00
bAlternateSetting: 0x00
bNumEndpoints: 0x00

bInterfaceSubClass: 0x00
*!*CAUTION: This appears to be an invalid bInterfaceSubClass
bInterfaceProtocol: 0x00

However, I tried to obtain the password using the HASP2010 (64 bits) and the password does not appears after open the software.
Any idea on the problem? Thanks in advance.

Open following link:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Is any additional feature(s) exists, except '0' ?
Run the protected software and check active sessions for the features.
If any session exists it means that your dongle used in SRM mode.

Re: HASP SRM or not
Your software uses SRM features.
So, private solution is possible only.
P.S. The expiration date can be removed or changed to 2099 year

Re: HASP SRM or not
Ok. Bad news...
The main objective was to emulate the dongle to run in several desktops (virtual machines).
Does the private solution creates a new physical key or a registry file?
Each year I have to updated the license and they present new releases of the software. Can the modification of the expiration date be done easily or is it also a private solution? Can the expiration date alteration be detected by the company?
Thanks.

Re: HASP SRM or not
Do you need to have the dongle in your hands to research the protection?

Re: HASP SRM or not
Hi guys, many thanks for the great job!
Can someone please help me? Sorry for my English
I have a dongle HASP HL for a protected software that perhaps uses SRM features.
There is a solution for the emulation?

Re: HASP SRM or not
Hello,
Of course, the solution can be prepared.
What is name of the protected software?
Also needs SRM dump file from following tool:
