A little help finding a tool..

Hi guys.. been trying for bout 8 hours now to get a hasp4 (lpt) working with multikey in win7 x64, i was able to dump the hasp.. getting the MK drivers installed was no issue. but following everything i have been reading on the forums i need to use unidmp2reg to make the dump into a usable reg for MK to be able to work. for about 6 hours now i have been searching for it and the latest i can come up with is 1.1b2 which doesn't have the option for vusb or other MK compatible (that i know of) formats..

I believe the password is 584b and 4ae9. I couldn't get a password using toro, i think because its a LPT dongle and not usb.. tried for a hour and toro came up with nothing.. Another program gave me those password (i can't remeber which at the moment, used alot yesterday) and when i used those passwords with h5dmp it gave me the dump you see above..

From that dump i used unidmp2reg 1.1b2 which doesn't have the option for vusb or mkey so i just picked toro to see what out my outcome would be and i got..

thanks will give it a try... BTW.. this is for Mcam9 which is a very old version with a lpt hasp, not mcam x4.. didnt know if that would matter..

No hasp found using those reg's..

Just to clarify, cause i have been finding conflicting info. mkey will work for programs looking for a LPT hasp? i know it installs drivers for USB keys.. just wanted to make sure.. this is also on win7 x64 in cause i didnt mention it..

use mkey 18.0.3 64bit, it's free version and above you need license pay to author.

Ok, new development... when i dumped the real hasp, h5dmp said "HASP4", i was just curious and ran haspx.exe which is mcam's util to check if the hasp is detected.. and it says "HASP3 found" so im assuming h5dmp doesn't work with a hasp 3?

And if so, is there a solution for hasp3 in w7-x64? thanks a ton guys.. sorry bout the confusion..

P.S. the reg files above with MK running do show up in the w7 machine, but as keyed for mcam X, i am using 9.1 not X.. thanks again

P.P.S. haspx.exe is the newest version of their hasp utility, which sees the emulated hasp, hasp 9 which is from 01 and came with the software doesn't see the emulated hasp at all.. does Mkey work for older lpt hasps?

may be haspx.exe FIRE your MK?

Hasp not found.. BTW.. the files i was sent look like they are for Mcam X4 or X6, the version i am doing this for is 9.1.. much older. not sure if that matters...

BTW.. could someone please tell me what to use to convert a h5dmp file to mkey reg file? i can't find unidmp2reg that has the option for vusb or mkey.. thanks guys

P.S. i have been searching without luck.. and i would rather learn to do this than be spoonfed reg files:)
