Can you go from dmp to dng
Hi all.
I have been searching the forum to see if I could find this answered in another post but either it hasn't been or I do not know enough to recognize it. I have been running a HASPHL2010 emulator for several years. The software was upgraded and the HASP HL dongle was reprogrammed. I loaded the new software and dumped the contents of the updated dongle using HASPHL2010. I sent the dmp in to the organization I originally purchased it from but have not received any response. I was going to try to use Multikey to see if I could do it myself but I will not have the physical dongle again for a couple of weeks. Is there a way to use the new dmp file and the old dng file to either create a dng file that will work with HASPHL2010 or create a reg file that will work with Multikey. Using HASPHL2010 would be easier because I could walk my wife through updating the emulator. Does anyone have a copy of the "Complete step-by-step Hasp-HL that fox_coder posted back in May 2011 (the links no longer work) or any other instructions that a newbie could follow/understand? The addresses to the dmp and dng files are below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
New dump: dlDOTdropboxDOTcom/u/96066501/01777B78DOTdmp
Old dng: dlDOTdropboxDOTcom/u/96066501/01777B78_fullDOTdng
I couldn't post the actual links so they are missing the h t t p s :// in front of the addresses and change DOT to .

Re: Can you go from dmp to dng
Hi @hasp. The reg file did not work. It told me the hasp needed to be updated. Last night I was able to connect by remote
assist and ran Toro and hasplogger. I ran logs to tables and got 0 pairs. I tried to run h5dmp but I got errors.
I tried passwords of:
0177 7B78
0x0177 0x7B78
Both returned ERROR <-10>: Dongle not found.
5B8D 5EF4
0x5B8D 0x5EF4
These returned ERROR -19 dumping
I re-dumped using HASP2010 but uni to reg said it was not a valid PVA file.
The info from the logs are below - replace the (DOT) with .
dl.dropbox(DOT)com/u/96066501/Dongle%20info%20from%20toro.txt
dl.dropbox(DOT)com/u/96066501/Dongle%20crip%20pais%20from%20toro.txt
dl.dropbox(DOT)com/u/96066501/Dongle%20info%20from%20toro.txt
dl.dropbox(DOT)com/u/96066501/Log%20file%20from%20Hasplogger.txt
It does not look like they are doing anything fancy with the dongle. After the program loads it is the same question and
answer every time. It does question another hasp 5B8D5EF4 but it's status is always (0x7).
From the logs I think the reg file should look like this. I found a description for the multikey regfile but I am not sure what
version it is for.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\01777B78]

I am not sure how to get the rest of the reg without a good dump.
"NetMemory"=hex:FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF,FF

00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
I am sure the P1-P4 values and the 0109000000000000 0000000000000000 will go somewhere but not sure if Data or D/E tables or???
If I get a chance to connect tonight I will try a different dumper - HaspHLDumper1.01.
I have not found H6dmp or I would have tried that last night.
I was going to use MultiKey 19.1.8 but I keep getting a 404 error when I submit. I will use 18.2.3 - does it require a license entry?
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.

That reg file gave me the dongle needed to be activated. Put Toro logger on and looked at the output. I was getting memory read of:

Memory:
