Aladdin Hardlock

Hey

So, I've spent the last 6 hours trying to clone a dongle. Normally I'm ok with techy stuff, but this driving me mad  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

At work, we have 2 keys for a program called Maestro, which is the program we use to program a CNC router.

So far, I've managed to

- Confirm the key is an Aladdin Hardlock key. I think. I'm 95% sure....
- I've used a program called HASPHL2010 to install a driver, start some kind of service, then pressed dump. 5 - 10 mins later I get a file called hl1189.bin
- I then found a program that looks like this one here imgur.com/a/jxtfS but when I try to add the .bin file to the dump file location I get the error in that screenshot - "Dump file or DNG not set"
- I've figured out something called a MODAD, which I believe is 1189 for my key.
- I've used something called RDumpoerGUI to enter the MODAD and it's generated a DAT file, which is the same name and size as the .bin so I'm guessing it's the same thing?
- I also ran something called hl_dumper from the shell and got this.... imgur.com/a/PUIiZ

That's really as far as I've got, but I've spent hours trying other stuff too, but with even less success.

I'm running Win10 and I've had to put it into some kind of test mode through powershell to let me start the HASPHL2010 emulator service.

I'm not asking for anyone to do this for me as I want to learn, but I'd really appreciate someone's help in pointing me in the right direction as to what I need to be doing. Thank you!

If it helps, I've since managed to create a (nother!) .dat file at 9kb and a .reg file at 32kb using a tool called hldmp.exe - not sure if that helps any.

I've run the install.exe but the cmd line now seems to be stuck.

Ok, I think I'm getting somewhere.

I've run the _install.exe and noticed it adds 2 entries in device manager under USB controllers. It adds Sentinel Hardlock Key & Sentinel USB Key. These appear to be same as drivers the dongle installs. So, I removed the dongle, ran _remove.exe to clear them, then added again from the _install.exe.

I then added the reg entries.

That's as far as I've got, but it still doesn't seem to work - figure there are some other steps I'm missing?

Sorry, should have mentioned, I went into the registry and changed the seed 3 value, saved, and retried it, and still didn't work.

Ok, still stuck, but I'll list the steps I've taken thus far, in the hope someone can add the missing piece!

I'll start from when papi kindly linked me to some files to use, which I eventually (I think...?) figured out what to do with...

I uninstalled all current drivers
I ran the _remove.exe
I ran the _install.exe
I applied the remove.reg script
I applied the vip.reg script

This didn't work. I uninstalled everything, changed the value in the registry to the other seed3 value and did all the steps again (except the .reg file), and still no luck.

Not sure what to try next?

only in 64 bit not working???

if so, driver or emulator to blame.

The seeds is incorrect. 

Would someone please be able to show me where I can look for info on getting the right seeds, please?

can use in winxp 32 bit Toro Hardlock Monitor?

I dumped the real dongle yeah, we have 2 here. Re driver, don't know tbh, whatever driver was originally installed on the PC - do I need to use a certain one?

I have no idea what "WinXP 32 bit Toro Hardlock Monitor" is sorry.

Papi originally sent me what I think is the multikey program already configured for my dongle, with the seeds etc. Wouldn't know where to start re configuring that, but eager to learn if someone has a tutorial they can point me to?

here use WinXP sp3 and 32 bit old drivers see if dump and log from Toro helps.

there need be an explanation why seeds wrong.

Seems the seeds is wrong because the calculation tool is buggy.

use Toro Hardlock monitor in win xp 32 bit.

Just doing that now, it opens a cmd line window and there is a flashing cursor at the top left, nothing else, and it stays that way.

Do I need to wait, or is it not working?

The software installed is not required, if you know the correct seeds.

may be this emulator not hold some hardlock function =)
or nodongle's dumper make fake q/r pair
use SpoRaw's dumper [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The dumper tool works perfectly since 2005.
The problem reason is the incorrect seeds only.
