Newbie! emulating HASP HL (Purple) on w2k

Hi i am a newbie. thats right step one.

I am faced with outdated servers and a customer that wont update.

I need to emulate USB HASP HL on a "new" server running w2k server and i cant get old (purple) dongles anymore, only new (white) version that is way above the version software currently running.

my question is:

*what tools do i need to do a dump of the key of the dongles i already have?

*what software to emulate usb key (w2k compatible?)

*is this something that can start automatically ?

i basically need some step-by-step guide to help me along - i have no problem posting dumps on the forum.

ok, so i tested with hasphl2010 and got a dump 4B1740D7.dmp

tried opening it with unidmp2reg/dmp2reg software, but i got "size unknown error"

according to the software license version the key is "MEMO HASP USB M1"
is this a older HASP4 ? , that may require older emulator/dumper to get the right info or am i doing somthing wrong here..

hasp2010 dmp not support unidump to reg....
Dump with h5dmp.exe and open with unidump to reg, also edit the reg as multikey example folder reg.

you want me to put the dump file (below) in the multikey folder? because the filename is 4B1740D7.reg and is in the multikey foler,with install.cmd,remove.cmd & restart.cmd

ok - so you thats what you where talking about, edit the .reg file from dump to match the one in the multikey folder.

Are you sure there is a 32bit version i can only find 64bit. will keep searching and post back.


update! ok, i think i found 18.2.4 -32bit, but when trying to run install.cmd
"devcon.exe is not a valid win32 application"

a little confusing, but is says : "install with demo key"? is this the 3C3925A0.reg?

this is the instructions that i got with Multikey download:

1 - install Aladdin v5.22 HASP ddrivers
2 - install Multikey with demo hasp
3 - loop.bat - Is this something old?


from what i understand i am suppose to do this:

2 - convert .dmp file to .reg file
3 - edit reg file in Multikey folder to match the one that you dumped (basically copy text from my .dmp file over to
the .reg file in the Multikey folder.
4 - Run install.cmd command.
5 - Done! Multikey will emulate and work.

the .reg file in the Multikey folder= EDIT THE REG FILE TO MATCH YOUR FILE TO HASP4 LOCAL.REG & IMPORT THE REG FILE
4 - Run install.cmd command. = OK & RUN RESTART.CMD
5 - Done! Multikey will emulate and work.= OK

hmm..seems that iam doing right, but still getting

could be right but,it said 32 on the download file...
ok, will keep searching - at least iam a step closer. Now i know what to do when i get the 32bit right.
