I need someone help to emulate a hasp hl dongle. Please tell me what program to use for making dump file and what to do with it?

I have read all I could find in here, but no one has an answer that I can see on this topic. I have Sentemul 2010 x64 working on my 64bit machine running windows 7, but I have ran into the same problems as others. It won't read the dng file created from Edge. It says that the .dng file is outdated and to update the file. Has anyone found a solution to this problem without altering or creating reg files?
